Do you hire equipment independent of marquees?

Yes. In addition to marquees, we offer all the equipment that you could need for a wedding, party, corporate event etc. including tables, chairs, dance floors, staging, uplighting, chandeliers, utility lights, strip lights, marquee lining, starlight lining, heating, matting, hard flooring, carpets etc. If we don’t stock something you want, we will do our best to source it for you.

What sort of marquees/structures do you have?

We stock Traditional pole marquees, Academy frame marquees, Hoecker clearspan marquees and a 14’ Tipi. We can supply the appropriate marquee for all events ranging from small parties of 10 guests to major events catering for thousands.

Can the marquee walls be removed if it is a hot day?

Yes. The walls can be slid or folded back or totally removed with relative ease. We will happily show you how this works when on site.

How good are the heaters?

They are excellent. We supply ducted, thermostatically controlled heaters that sit outside of the marquee and heat the inside via a duct that sits under the canvas wall. Although the weather dictates the heating, one heater is usually enough for a party of around 80 guests.

Can you handle difficult sites?

Yes. Over the years we have seen all sorts of gardens and sites and so can confidently overcome most obstacles. We have erected marquees on slopes, have included ponds and trees within marquees, and have even built marquees within marquees!

Can the marquee be erected on a hard surface?

Yes, if your marquee is to be erected on a hard surface ie, something other than grass we will need to either use weights or bolt the marquee to the surface.

Can the marquees be attached to houses?

Yes, if you need to attach a marquee to your house or office, we simply use a gutter between the marquee and building. Please note that we would need to visit the site prior to making a booking, to confirm its suitability.
